I'm a painter, illustrator and teacher based in Toronto, but I grew up in South Africa, surrounded by colour, intense light and flowers everywhere. My style is vibrant, playful and joyful, and that's exactly what I'll teach you.

In Flowers All Ways, I’ll guide you through my own unique approach to painting flowers. From single flowers simply to more full bouquets, imaginative garden landscapes, favourite colour combinations, painting on coloured paper, flower crowns, and so much more.
In Birds, Bugs & Butterflies, we’ll explore a range of styles and new mediums. We'll start with the basics, using colour blocking, layering, wet-on-wet, ink, and collage to create whimsical compositions that bring these creatures to life.
Together, we’ll explore my favourite materials, including brushes, paints and paper. We’ll learn about how I mix colour, use contrast, texture, layering and form. These courses are designed to nurture your own creativity and help you discover the joy of painting in your own style.
