Hi! Iām Carolyn, a painter, illustrator, and designer based in Toronto, Canada. Iām passionate about painting, colour, flowers, animals and the natural world, and I want to share that love with you!Ā
I want to invite you to myĀ free beginner-friendly workshopĀ painting workshop. We'll go through materials, paint together and I'll share some of my techniques with you.
I also have a lovely surprise for you and a Q&A at the end so you can ask me anything you wish.

HI, IāM CAROLYN!
Iāve been painting my whole life and took to it at a very young age.
I grew up in South Africa, a place filled with
bright colour, texture, nature and animals. This was definitely an influence on my painting and still shapes how I see the world today.
My style is playful, vibrant, earth and imperfect. I think Iām that way too :-)
I use gouache, watercolour, pen and ink, pastels and collage. Using these materials to express my visual intake of the world and create paintings that I love in the process.
I do teach workshops and retreats in person too
and now am able to teach online and bring my skills directly to you!
