HI, IāM CAROLYN!
Iāve been painting my whole life and took to it at a very young age.
I grew up in South Africa, a place filled with
bright colour, texture, nature and animals.
This was definitely an influence on my painting and still shapes how I see the world today.
My style is playful, vibrant, earthy and imperfect.
I think Iām that way too :-)
I use gouache, watercolour, pen and ink, pastels and collage.
Using these materials to express my visual intake of the world and create paintings that I love in the process.
I do teach in-person workshops and retreats, too, and now I can teach online and bring my skills directly to you!
