Hi, I'm Carolyn.
I'm a painter, illustrator and teacher based in Toronto, but I grew up in South Africa, surrounded by colour and the natural world, and it's never left my work.
I've taught at retreats around the world and built a community of nearly half a million artists who paint alongside me every day. This is the first time I'm bringing you oil pastel, watercolour pencils, and painting on wood panels: three new ways to play.

COURSE CONTENT
What's included
In this course of more than 9 hours of instruction, I'll guide you through my own unique approach to painting some of my most beloved subjects. From simple fruit studies, to veggies and cake, we'll move through to outdoor scenes and imaginative landscapes dreamy landscapes.
Together, we'll explore my favourite materials including brushes, paints and paper. We'll learn how I mix colour, use contrast, texture. layering and negative space.
